The weekend of releases http://www.omgimageek.com/archives/85 http://www.omgimageek.com/archives/85#comments Mon, 20 Nov 2006 19:40:05 +0000 http://www.omgimageek.com/archives/85 Ah, the week before Thanksgiving, and you know what that means…. Gaming console releases.

If you know me, you know I can’t stand Sony Products, and I still can’t. I haven’t really seen the PS3 yet, and I probably won’t be for a while, considering that all my friends who bought one are putting it directly on ebay for some idiot to pay 2k for.

As far as the Wii goes, I think I’m moving toward less noise, more signal. I thought that the Wii can go either of two paths. Gimmicky, or frigging cool. I mean, how much replay value does swinging your arms around with a remote control have besides being able to laugh at whomever is playing? But I think my friend playing Trama Center changed my opinion. The control mechanism seemed very innovative, and although I didn’t play the game, it seemed really cool. However, how many games are like trama center? I mean… not that many games are going to take to using the candy bar Wiimote as a pointer.

Anyway. I wish more people would read this thing. It would make me want to write in it more.
