Reyia, mark 3

Yep, I decided to respec a third time. For those of you not in the know, I play a 60 UD priest on the Silver Hand realm in World of Warcraft. I started out as a hardcore shadow priest, melting faces like no tomorrow, then, in the 1.10 patch, decided to do with the smelt face (or the face explode) build. For those of you who don’t remember what that was, it was basically 18/33/0, going down disc for Imp Inner Fire, and then grabbing everything that improved smite.

It did okay damage, I was able to top some damage charts with it.

500-650 smites every 2 secs for 280 mana per cast–900 was my max crit.

The thing is, in pvp, where burst is king, it wasn’t enough burst. It was embarassing to take nearly 25 seconds to smite out a hunter, with interrupts, and stupid facing jank. I hate the run around like an idiot and fail spellcasts that you can do.

So I respeced into 18/11/22 Reyia’s toolbox build:

Highlights:

Discipline: Improved Inner Fire, Maytrdom, obligatory PW:S

Holy: Imp renew, Healing Focus, Holy Nova, Faster Gheals

Shadow: Flay, improved scream, Silence, Vamp Embrace.

I’m way happier now in PvP, but I’m feeling the effieciency hits. I mean… my favorite efficiency talent is now gone (mental agility). I may have to remedy that.

But apparently, without even trying, i’ve gotten 200 +heal and +100 spell damage, with 95m regen out of 5s rule. i don’t know if that’s good.. but heck. I didn’t even know it was there.

Sigh: Lost again the aurastone hammer. Maybe I should just wait for my Benediction.

Weekend and stuff

As you can see, John has posted a quickie synopsis of the Game-a-thon that we had on Saturday. It was probably the first time we had access to a whopping 7 people to play games with… so of course, instead of playing Caylus all day as me and John were planning, we played every game we could that offered 7 man support. It’s too bad that we didn’t have enough dedication to sit down for a crazy huge game, like Twilight Imperium or Diplomacy or something. We never get to play those games.

Otherwise, I had a great weekend, cept for Daylight Savings Time. DST has totally fsked up my week… So hard to wake up and get out of bed. I’m not tired by the time I usually go to sleep, and its still dark outside when I wake up. This week has been such a grind for me. Coffee, falling asleep at the keyboard, trying not to snore at my desk… =(

I’m looking forward to the next weekend so I can catch some more sleep and perhaps get to play some more Caylus. It’s a pity that Kat and Kris can’t make it this weekend. It would have been fun to get another crazy Shadows over Camelot thing going. Maybe I will pick it up. I decided against it because I didn’t think I would be able to drum up enough interest in it.
