Yeah. It’s pretty much slack. I mean… I want very much for this to be an active blog… it’s hard in many aspects.
If i write more freely… well.. then if people read it, they will be given an insight into my internal desires and thoughts and such… which is kind of personal. Though I am male, and therefore, less likely to be stalked…. (besides… it’s not like I’m really that desirable anyway), it’s still very wierd to write about oneself… much like a diary journal and have it be on the web.
On the other hand, this blog isn’t really quite compelling otherwise. I mean… what reason do people have to read this thing? I mean, I never update… and I never write anything that meaningful. Well… something to struggle with.
As far as my month, I had my birthday last week… a low key affair; I don’t really need to celebrate and throw airs on myself. Me and Kate went to a fancy resturant and had a meal that was far too expensive… but tasty. We had a good time. She had a chicken wrapped in fillo type thing, and I had a classic surf and turf. Then we wen’t back and had some quality time together. On Saturday, her apartment took me out to Fuji’s and got completely stuffed. Sunday, I go down to San Fran and hang out with old church friends.
Which was a blast really, from the past. I mean… Haven’t seen some people in years, like Peter, and Christle. Christle wrote me a very sweet card too. Reminding me of olde time sake when I used to wax philosophy and think about the secrets of the universe. I find myself with less time to think about the greater things in life. I’m busy enough just getting by, working and doing my thing. I think that’s how we all die. We just sit there and think less and less about the big picture. Then the big picture eats us, eventually drowning in the little things in life.
Anyway, enough of me waxing.
Driving home was sucky. I usually take 101 via GGB -> 37 ->80 to get home, but they convinced me to take the quicker Bay Bridge Route. No traffic they say… faster they say… Bah. I got stuck there for about an hour, because they closed off the roads. Took me 3 hours to make a 1 hour trip. Yay efficiency.
Glad I took the day off the next day.
